OBITUARY:
HENRY Lange, Husband of Mrs. Myrtle Lane died at St Mary's hospital in East St Louis on Thursday, January 4, after suffering a heart attack. He had been ailing for several months but death came rather sudden.
Mr Lange was born January 29, 1900 near Burksville and had reached the age of 44 years.
His first wife, Mrs Hazel Lange, nee Steele, preceded him in death. On April 5, 1941 he was married to Mrs. Myrtle Raeber, who survives.
He also leaves two daughters, Mrs Dorothy Dappalone and Elsie Lange: one son, Lester, two step daughters, Mrs Andrew Bryant and Mrs. Eugene Goley; two step sons, Harold and Glenn Raeber.
His mother, Mrs. Christine Lange; five sisters, Mrs. Anna Melching, Mrs. Edna Einwich, Mrs. Amanda Melching, Mrs. Louise Shea and Mrs. Norma Nobbe and two brothers, William and Adolph.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon January 7 at the Quernheim Funeral Home with burial taking place in the Kolmer Memorial Burial Park. Rev. J Schulz was in charge of the services.
