Ruth M. Kline Brill, 88, of 837 E. Orange St., died of natural causes Friday afternoon at Lancashire Hall, where she had been a patient for a month. A buyer and department manager for the former James H. Ross store, Mrs. Brill retired in 1970 after 25 years. She was a 72 year member of Christ United Methodist Church, Lancaster, where she served on various committees. Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Aaron A. and Lydia Hess Allison. She was married 53 years to Arthur P. Brill. Surviving besides her husband are nieces and nephews. (Intelligencer Journal - July 10, 2000)
