He was born Nov. 22, 1962, to the late Chester and Wanda Lea Abbott in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mr. Abbott was a member of Chester Baptist Church. He died Jan. 8, 2018, at OCH Medical Center in Ackerman.
Survivors include a son, Jamie Abbott of Walker, Louisiana: two brothers, Randy an d Rusty Abbott of Ackerman, two sisters, Cathy Kimball and Joann Peeples of Ackerman: two grandsons; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman was in charge of arrangements.
