J. W. "Bill" Gentry, 81, of Kirbyville died Friday, December, 1988 at his home after an illness.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at E. E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with a Masonic graveside service at Kirbyville Cemetery.

A native of Polk County, Arkansas, he lived in Kirbyville most of his life and was a retired blacksmith.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Gentry of Kirbyville; sons, Jode W. Gentry of Houston, Bobby W. Gentry of Wildwood and Larry F. Gentry of Kirbyville; daughters, Margarite Parker of Buna and Jeannie Arnold of Kirbyville; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
