M. Denise Weenig, born in Rockledge, Florida and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA for many years, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the age of 66.

She was the wife of the late Lynn Weenig and the mother of two daughters, Deanna Aymond and Lisa Beeson (Brian). Sister of Brenda Reeves (Tom), Marsha Fowler (Mark) both of Baton Rouge, LA and Sally Carey (Ron) of Wales, U.K. Denise was also very involved in the lives of her nieces and nephews; Emily and Alex Barefield, Chloe Fowler, Ashley Guidry, Matthew Breeland, Brandon and Stephen Dewey, Valerie Robbins, Hal Bazar, Hannah Poe and Ben McDonald. Also survived by her dear friend, John Fenton, two grandsons, a host of other family and friends and her faithful companion, Star.

Denise was active in spreading the Gospel and was a member of the Family Worship Center. She was a retired property manager.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 5 PM until 7 PM and again on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 11 AM until 1 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment, Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, LA.
