MRS. CHARLES F. SUTER
(1886-1955)
Mrs. Rose M. Suter, 1816 Washington Blvd., West Portsmouth, died at 8:10 a.m. today following a heart attack at her home. She had been ill two years.
Born May 27, 1886, at Portsmouth, she was a daughter of John and Mary Zamp Bassler. She was married July 13, 1913 to Charles F. Suter who survives. She was a member of First Evangelical and Reformed Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by the following children: David, 315 Offnere St., Charles and Harold of Rosemount Rd. Addition, Mrs. Mary Margaret Carver of Swauger Valley and Thomas, 2401 Scioto Trail; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Henry Bassler and Thomas Bassler, 829 10th St. and John of Michigan.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Melcher Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Goetz officiating. Burial will be in Scioto Burial Park. The body may be viewed at the funeral home until 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
