Harold Loyd Rice, 88 of Rector passed from this life of Sunday December 31, 2017 at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born on January 12, 1929 in Corning to the late Archie Eldon and Liddy Mae Bailey Rice. Harold was a retired farmer and machinist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Mary Elizabeth Rice, one brother: Ernest Rice; three sisters: Alice Rice, Martha Arnold, and Christine Hart.
Harold is survived by his children: Tony Rice of Rector, Regina Walls of Corning; granddaughters: Laurie Varner, Jinafer Walls, great grandson: Colt Foster, all of Rector; one brother: Gene Rice of Paragould; two sisters: Louise Miller of Paragould, Wilma Kavy of Corning; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
