Mr. Ernest Alvis Rice, 79, of Sikeston, MO., passed away at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO. Mr. Rice was a supervisor for Burkhart Manufactoring, where he worked for 39 years. He enjoyed fishing and watching baseball. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.
He married his wife of 48 years Tish (Davis) Rice on December 23, 1961.
Visitation was 10:00 AM Thursday, August 21, 2014 until the time of service in Ermert Funeral Home. Graveside funeral service was conducted Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating.
