Hanna, Wayne L., age 76 passed away December 31 in his home in Ellisville. He was born January 30, 1941 in Wellington, Utah, the third of four children to John “Jack” Darwin Hanna and Helen May Olson. Wayne was raised in Wellington and Price, Utah. He graduated from Carbon High School, Utah State University, and Stevens Institute of Technology. He was married in 1960 to Velma Karen Jensen, later divorced. Wayne married Loretta Ann Minks in 1980. Together they united two families and raised 9 children. Wayne was a computer programmer who eventually became Director of Telecommunications at McDonnell Douglas. Wayne was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Wayne was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions faithfully. Wayne taught his children that you can never have too many people who love you and showed us by example how to serve others. Wayne is survived by two sons and seven daughters, JoAnn Eskelsen (Steven), Las Vegas; Denise Eastham (David), St Louis; Linda Nelson, Los Angeles; Curtis Hanna, Salt Lake City; Curtis Roberts, St. Louis; Sharolyn Swenson (Eric), Provo, Utah; Janece Hanna, Dallas; Joanne Reding, Dallas; and Leslie Kristine Johnson, St. Louis, sister Carol Fluckiger, Salt Lake City; and thirteen grandchildren, Jennifer Camacho, Eric Roberts, Ryan Swenson, Justin Nelson, Luke Swenson, Anna Swenson, Jimmy Reding, Kelsey Thomas, John Swenson, Jackson Reding, Blake Johnson, Dylan Johnson, and Hanna Johnson. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Harold and Blake, and James Reding (son-in-law).

Services: Funeral service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 15081 Clayton Rd., Chesterfield, Thursday, 11:00 a.m. Interment Bellerive Gardens. Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Visitation at the church, Thursday, 10-10:40 a.m.
