Services for Mrs. Maud E. Agan, 73-year-old Pittsboro citizen, were conducted, Tuesday afternoon, in the Gregory Funeral Home, there, with Elder Sherman Essex of the Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery. She died, Friday, in the English Nursing Home in Lebanon, where she had been a patient since June.
A native of Hendricks County, she was born Sept. 3, 1891, the daughter of the late Dayton and Rebecca Patterson McConnaha. She was married to the late Grover Agan in 1909 at Danville.
She attended the Pittsboro Schools and was a member of the Baptist Church there.
Survivors include three children, Herschell Agan and Doris Marker, both of Pittsboro, and Mrs. Rowena Buchanan, of Akron, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Mary Blomfield, of Wyandotte, Mich.; a brother, Earl McConnaha, of Lebanon, and 13 grandchildren.
