Last Saturday Lee PARSONS, a farmer living about 20 miles southwest of Tyrone, passed away. His death was due to a fall from a ladder while attempting to repair a windmill. A step on the ladder broke and he fell about 12 feet landing upon his head and shoulders. He lived only about four hours after the accident.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday at the Baptist Church at Hooker Conducted by Rev. Frank McDaniel of Liberal, Kansas. The deceased leaves a wife and ten children and a host of friends to mourn his untimely death.
