Thomson, Georgia- Ms. Ruby Davis Cason, 93, entered into rest December 29, 2017 at University Hospital.

Ms. Cason was a native of Warren County, GA and the daughter of the late Soloman Davis and the late Lizzie Ivey Davis. She had lived in Thomson since 1998 and was retired as a waitress from Samuel’s Country Table Restaurant. She was a Baptist by faith. Ms. Cason was also a faithful and devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cason was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters; a granddaughter, Terri Dean along with her husband David, and son-in-law Edward Hyman.

Survivors include her beloved daughter, Wanda Hyman-Kitchens (Don) of Thomson, GA; granddaughter, Traci Arrington (Freddy) of Norwood, GA; great grandchildren, Cane Gilmer (Autumn), Matt Dean and Bethany Forrester (Jeremy).

Funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock p.m., Sunday, December 31, 2017 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brandon Furr officiating. Interment will be at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
