Robert Edward Bradford Sr., 62, son of the late John William Bradford and Lillie Mai Griffy Bradford, died Tuesday, May 29, at his sister's residence in Leoma. Mr. Bradford was born in Maury County and spent most of his life in the Burwood and Johnson Hollow communities before moving to Leoma. He was a cabinet builder with Design Craft Cabinet Co. and attended the Baptist church. Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Bradford Jr. of Leoma and Russell Scott Bradford of Sandford, Maine; a daughter, Kimberly Freeman of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Hayden Bradford of Franklin and Leroy Bradford of Columbia; three sisters, Martha Sandlin of Leoma and Starr Cook and Brenda Pewitt, both of Colliersville; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, June 1, at 10 a.m., at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Jim Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Leoma Cemetery. Friends and co-workers will serve as pallbearers. Williamson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
