Harry Henley, 70, of 607 E. Elm St., West Frankfort, died at 2:30 a.m. today, March 13, 1980, at Union Hospital in West Frankfort. Mr. Henley was retired from Freeman Coal Co. He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church of West Frankfort and the Holy Name Society of the church. He was a veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the West Frankfort Moose Lodge, Herrin Eagles, and the Franklin County Country Club. He was born June 10, 1909, in Logan, to John and Catherine Helfrich Henley. He was married April 16, 1949, in West Frankfort, to Ann Guidazzio.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Dick Henley of Herrin; one daughter, Joan Marie Chamness of Herrin; two brothers, Carl of West Frankfort and Winston of Louisville, Ky.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services at St. Johns Catholic Church. Burial in Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort. Friends Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, where a Rosary will be recited
