Shirley Brooks Bryant went to be with our Lord on Tuesday December 26, 2017 at Parkwest Hospital and suffers no longer as she is in the presence of our Lord. She was a dedicated member of Knoxville Christian Center for over 30 years.
Shirley is preceded in death by parents Roy & Ima Brooks; Siblings: Roy Jr., Bud, Barbara, Patricia, Deanna; and great granddaughter Palmer Maurer. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Vincent Bryant, Sr. of Lenoir City, daughter JayAnne Boza (Jorge) of Austin, TX; sons: Vincent, Jr. (Donna), Kevin (Lisette) all of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jeffrey of Lenoir City, TN; grandchildren: Nicolas and Christopher Bryant, Mary Leigh (Noah Freedman), Katy, Mara (Kris Maurer), Brian, Michael, Jonathan (Vivian), and Kristyn Boza; great grandson Zev Freedman. Brothers: Jerry, Jimmy (Debbie) of Portsmouth, VA; sisters: Janice Binger, Jane Egan, Brenda (Joe Pursiful) all of Knoxville, TN and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Knoxville Christian Center Cedar Bluff 818 N Cedar Bluff Rd Knoxville, TN 37923 with a funeral service immediately after at 2:00 pm officiated by Dr. Pastor Barry Culberson. Following the service at the church, family and friends will meet at Roseberry Cemetery 2920 Roseberry Rd Mascot, TN 37806 at 3:45 pm for internment services at 4:00 pm.
