Obituary: Mary Bogard Dies in Napa

Mrs. Mary Gould Bogard, 78, a resident of Redding for 20 years, died Sunday evening in a hospital in Napa. She moved to Red Bluff after the death about nine years ago of her husband, the late Ed Gould of Redding. Her second husband, the late John Bogard, died there in 1949. She was born in Tehama county March 2, 1876.

She leaves a sister, Mrs. George Straley of Woodleaf, and two brothers, Paul Taylor of Cottonwood and Jim Taylor of Red Bluff.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Hoyt's Funeral chapel in Red Bluff with interment to follow at Oak Hill cemetery.
