She graduated from South High School and attended Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. She married Keith Ross Davies on May 27, 1965 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with four children, Diane, Shannon, Christian and Allison.
In addition to being a committed mother, she was a generous, creative, strong, and intelligent woman. As a business woman she was instrumental in building Health Strategies and loved working at LDS Family Services. Her greatest happiness was her ten beautiful grandchildren. Scott, Aaron, Kelly, Nick, Taylor, JD, Katelyn, Samantha, Anthony, and Daniel were the joys of her life.
She attended concerts, recitals, plays and games and delighted in talking to her dear friends about her grandchildren's adventures. She expressed her love by sewing beautiful handmade works of art for her family and friends. If challenge or misfortune ever came into the lives of those she loved, she was diligent in finding ways to support and serve.
She remained faithful to her beliefs and covenants in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was dedicated to helping her friends and neighbors through numerous stake and ward callings.
She is survived by her husband Keith and her brother H. David Burton (Barbara) as well as her children, grandchildren, and one great grandson (with two great granddaughters on the way). Services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary (3401 Highland Drive) at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18 with internment afterwards.
