Josette Landrum Ellis, 79, a native and resident of Poquoson for most of her life, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 surrounded by her family. Josette worked as a caregiver and was a member of St. Timothy’s Anglican Church, Poquoson. She loved to travel and recently visited family in NY, PA, FL, and DC. Josette was preceded in death by her parents, William and Irma Landrum; and brother, Donnie Landrum.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Micalizzi; daughter, Lisa Powell (Mike); grandchildren, Lauren Rought (Tyler), Lindsay Powell, and Kristen Powell; great-grandchild, Aubrey Grace Rought; and sister, Joyce Ballard (Gary).
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 16, 1:00-2:30 PM, immediately followed by her funeral service at 2:30 PM led by Rev. Father Paul Hubbard, all at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson. Burial will be private at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton at a later date.
