POQUOSON - William McAllister Landrum, 88, died Wednesday, May 31, 1995. He was a native and a lifelong resident of Poquoson.

He retired in 1972 after 17 years of service with Gavrin Publishing Company and had previously worked for Newport News Forms Company. He was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma V. Landrum. Survivors include one son, Donald Landrum of New York City; two daughters, Joyce Ballard and Josette Clark Ellis, both of Poquoson; two sisters, Louise Clark and Elsie Kimbler, both of Hampton; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Parklawn Memorial Park by Rev. Richard Helveston. Visitation will be Friday at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at 109 Cedar Road.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Poquoson Rescue Squad, 1035 Poquoson Avenue, Poquoson, Va. 23662.
