Services for Mrs. Armada B. Small, 81, who died this morning at 3 a.m. at Nashville General Hospital, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church with the Rev. E. J. Ross officiating. Burial, with Smith Funeral Home in charge, will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. Mrs. Small moved from Illinois to Perry County as a child. She had been a resident of Jackson for the past 30 years and was a member of First Pentecostal Church. Her death followed complications after she broke her hip in a fall last week- She leaves one son, Bismark Bates, Beardstown; two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Wiggins, Nashville, and Mrs. Nick Semander, Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A third daughter, Mrs. Elbert (Mattie Ina)Lynch, died on Jan. 5, 1946.
