He is survived by a daughter Linda Newman of Sidney and her children Samantha, Sarah & Steve and her grandon Caleb: a daughter Cindy Thurman and her husband Bill of Largo, FL and their son Daniel: two brothers Claude Andrew Slife & Ann Slife of Celina, OH: Louie & Phyllis Slife of Tipp City, OH: three sisters Kitty & Dewey Jones of Augusta, GA, Florence Eileen Slife Wells & Oliver Wells of Waldorf MD and Marie Brock of Sidney, OH: two sister-in-laws Connie Slife of LaHabra, CA and Norma Slife of Vandalia. He is preceded in death by a daughter Pamela and three brothers William Arthur Slife., Richard, & Carl Raymond Slife. Mr. Slife was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Northmoore Country Club and a social member of the American Legion all in Celina, OH. He retired from NCR in Dayton was currently employed at Hoge Lumber in New Knoxville, OH. Services for Mr. Slife will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, April 12, 1000 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, with Pastor Stephen Merold Officiating. Burial will follow In Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton Ohio. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 until 9 PM Tuesday and after 12 PM Wednesday.
