Slife, Claude A. "Dutch", age 79 of Celina, formerly of Dayton, passed away Friday, March 16, 2007. Dutch was born October 21, 1927 in Dayton, son of the late Claude Irvin Slife and Rosemarie Catherine Good Slife. Dutch married Anna Sullivan on January 30, 1953. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1945-1948. Dutch retired as a Lieutenant from the Dayton City Police Dept. in 1977. He was a member of the St. John Masonic Lodge #13 F&M and the Antioch Shrine. Dutch was also an avid bowler and golfer.
Dutch is survived by his loving wife, Anna; daughter, Sherry (Terry) Bohnert; son, Claude "Bud" (Debbie) Slife; grandchildren, Carrie, Drew, Michelle and Rose; great-grandsons, Alex and Parker; sisters, Kitty (Dewey) Jones and Marie Brock; brother, Louis (Phyllis) Slife; cousin, Lee Slife; dear friends, Bob and David; many other loving friends and family members.

Claude was preceded in death by his brothers, William "Bill", Richard "Dick", Carl and Jim; sister, Florence Wells.
