The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reeds United Methodist Church, where she was a member,by the Rev. Jim Martin. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. High was bom Aug. 22, 1914, in Davidson County to Marshall Pennix Farabee and Clatie Foster Farabee. She was a member of Reeds Garden Club and Boone Garden Club.
Her husband, William Lank High Sr., preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. Williarn L. High Jr. of Beaumont, Texas. and Anderson A. (Andy) High III of Statesville; four grandchildren; a brother, John T. Farabee of Reeds; and a sister, Nell Hughes, also of Reeds.
The family Will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Voglers-Piedmont Funeral Home and other times at the home.
