BUNA – Funeral for Robert E. Chandler, 82, of Buna will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Buna First Baptist Church with burial in Antioch Cemetery under direction of Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral Home.
Chandler died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Buna Nursing Home. He was a native of Shelby County.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Choate Chandler; three sons, Ernie W. Chandler of San Francisco, Charles Chandler of Kingsport, Tenn., Robert Chandler of Alexandria, La.; six daughters, Belma Wimberly of Deer Park, Nera Mae Borzilleri of Houston, Odessie Fancher of Anahuac, Novis Lobb of Spring Branch, Mavis Gates of Baytown, Patricia Martin of Buna; two brothers, J. O. Chandler of Kirbyville, Sam Chankler of Gilmer; three sisters, Evie Whitten of Kirbyville, Annie Rains of Center, Fannie Rayfield of Buna.
