Patricia A. Gerke, 85, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne. Born in Allen County IN, to the late Harold and Dorothy Lewis. Patricia graduated from Central High School in 1950. She was a bookkeeper for Fruehauf Trailer and later became an LPN and worked at Parkview Memorial Hospital for over 10 years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Churubusco, IN and Bethel Lutheran Church in Palm Harbor, FL. Her hobbies included traveling with her husband, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her daughter, Pam Martin of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Dorothy Ramsey of Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Sam (Grace) Lewis of Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren, Amy (Gary) Savieo of Churubusco, IN; Chris (Candice) Martin of Fort Wayne, IN; Ashley Martin (Luis Navarro) of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter-in law Laura Gerke of Fort Wayne, IN and 6 great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Thomas Kent, Eryn, Samantha, Abigail, and Alexander; Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Gerke, and her son, Kent Gerke. Service is 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church, located at 9251 E. State Road 205, Churubusco, IN 46723, with gathering one-hour prior.
