Anna Jean Angland (Jean) was born on April 29, 1919, the only child of Erna and Melvin Williamson. Raised during the Depression, she had many happy childhood memories of growing up in the Willamette Valley at her grandparent's farm with her cousins, Betty Sims and Lorraine Schenk.

She met and married Maurice Angland in the San Francisco Bay area where they raised a family of five children. In their retirement they returned to their home state of Oregon where she reconnected with the rural life she loved. Her grandchildren thrived spending time with her over the summers.

As a member of St. Francis of Assisi congregation she studied with the De Sales Society and volunteered for many years at Saint Vincent DePaul.

Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynne; and her husband, Maurice.

She is survived by her children: Patricia Angland, Janet Radick (Greg), Nancy Rice (Edward) and Rob Angland (Misty); 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday December 8, 2017, at Macy and Son Funeral Home, 135 N.E. Evans Street, McMinnville, Oregon. A reception will follow.

Private interment will take place at Deschutes Memorial Gardens in Bend, Oregon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Vincent DePaul.
