She was a member of Patterson Grove Baptist Church in Kings Mountain and attended Elizabeth Baptist Church, where she was a former member of Keenager Choir.
She was also a former volunteer for Hospice of Cleveland County and the senior center.
She enjoyed gardening, needlepointing, sewing, jigsaw puzzles and all kinds of crafts.
She was the daughter of Thomas C. and Lillian Huffstetler Bridges, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Tom L. Hamrick, and brothers, Coy Bridges and Kirk Bridges.
