She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Thomas and Lilly Huffstetler Bridges. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Boyd Howell; brothers, Kirk Bridges and Coy Bridges; sisters, Margaret Hamrick and Zoe Scism. Mrs. Howell was retired from the textile industry and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She also volunteered for Hospice of Cleveland County.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Bethlehem Baptist Church,with Dr. Steve Taylor, officiating.
