Mr. Billy Joe Centers, 86, of Fackler, Alabama passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at the funeral home.
Mr. Centers is survived by his son, Stephen (Verana Stark) Centers; sister, Dorothy Ledbetter; step-brother, James Earl Gilliam; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Centers; parents, Glen and Sarah Frances Bearden Centers; and several brothers and sisters.
