Obituary for Mr. Wallace Glen Centers
Mr. Wallace Glen Centers, 77, of Paint Rock, Alabama passed away of Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital.

Funeral services will be on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Bohanon officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Centers is survived by his daughters, Roxanne Baugh, Dawn Sanders, Lydia Gentry; sons, Bobby Treece, Rickey Treece; sister, Dorothy Ledbetter; brother, Billy Centers; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Centers; parents, Glen and Sarah Frances Bearden Centers; and several brothers and sisters.

JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. – Alabama State Troopers are investigating a two-vehicle crash that happened at 8:20 a.m. Thursday in Paint Rock.

Trooper Curtis Summerville said that a Toyota Tacoma hit a Toyota Camry on U.S. 72 at the 116 mile marker.

Troopers confirmed that a helicopter airlifted 77-year-old Wallace Glen Centers of Paint Rock to an area hospital where he died of his injuries.

An ambulance transported 31-year-old Haley Womack to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
