Sarah Woodhull Forman was the daughter of rev john Woodhull who was the minister of Old tennent church in Monmouth county from 1778 to 1824 , it is said that Sarah had a dowry of 80,000 dollars when she graduated from Princeton university , she was the second wife of major William Gordon Forman who died in Louisville Ky while taking their only daughter back to New jersey . William and Sarah had one daughter named Sarah M Forman ,she married Clifford Armes in 1812 Sarah died in 1872 painting by Christian Gullager done in 1797
