North Augusta, SC - Memorial Services for Anita Horath, 55, who entered into rest November 10, 2017, will be conducted Thursday evening at 6 o’clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel. Dr. Randall Whitaker officiating. Interment will be private.

Anita was born in Ft. Riley, Kansas, a former resident of Augusta, having made North Augusta her home for the past 32 years. She was of the Catholic faith, a valued employee with MAU for 28 years and enjoyed bowling. Anita touched the lives of her numerous friends and those she came in contact with. She was preceded in death by her parents, LeVoy and Inge Lingstadt Horath.

Survivors include her life partner of 23 years, Pamela Michael, North Augusta, SC; her sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Ronnie Williams, Greer, SC; two nieces, Shawnie Whitaker and Brianna Whitaker; a great-nephew, Bryan Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of MAU.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
