JACOB N. BEELER FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE WEDNESDAY
ATLANTA
Jacob Newton Beeler, age 80, of Lincoln, IL died at 1:55 p.m. Sunday at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln, following as extended illness.
The body was taken to Quiram Funeral Home here where funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 1, 1874, in Sumner County, KS, a son of Dr. David and Paulina (nee Anderson) Beeler. He came to Illinois in 1902 and had lived in the vicinity since that time. He married Miss Mabel Hollingstead in 1906. He retired from farming here about two years ago and moved to Lincoln.
Surviving are his wife, five daughters, Mrs. Mary Woehl, Creve Couer; Mrs. Jessie Tripplett, Middletown; and Mrs. Leta Rice, Mrs. Lillie Johnson and Mrs. Myrtle Barnett, all of Clinton; five sons, David, Joplin, MO; Herbert, Washburn; Eugene, Lincoln; Wait, Weldon, and Joseph, Beelington, WVA; one brother, Wait of Houstonville, KY; 38 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One son, two daughters and one brother preceded him in death.
