Daughter of Richard Stockton and wife, Abigail Bloomfield Stockton of Flushing, Queens, NY.

The family moved to Burlington County, New Jersey in 1692.

Second wife of Richard Ridgway Sr. whom she married about 1715 in Burlington County NJ.

They were married by a Justice of the Peace instead of being married by their Quaker minister so they were banned from the Burlington Friends Meeting for a period of time but were allowed back into the congregation before their deaths.

They had a total of 7 children before Richard Sr's death in 1723:

Abigail's Will was written and signed on 8 Mar 1726 and it was probated on 19 Dec 1726 in Burlington County NJ.
