Maxine Eva Wiseman, 95 of Raytown, MO passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m., until service time Friday at the chapel. Donations may be made in her name to the Great Plains SPCA. Maxine was born February 18, 1922 in Stoutland, MO to John M. and Florence (DeBerry) Coffey. She had worked as a seamstress for a number of years at the Levi plant in Sedalia, MO and was self employed for a number of years. She enjoyed gardening and flowers and could grow anything. Survivors include; 2 sons, Charles Wiseman and his wife Barbara of Independence, MO and John Wiseman and his wife Sandra of Warsaw, MO; a sister, Waneta Matney of Tacoma, WA; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles “CB” Wiseman in January 1972, 3 sons, Bobby, Jimmy and Mike, 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
