"Charles A. Beebe, 87, Milwaukee Engineer, Succumbs in Detroit
Charles A. Beebe, 87, for many years an engineer on the Milwaukee railroad here, died at Detroit Friday night after a short illness. He was born in Iowa July 7, 1856 [1855]. He was employeed by the Milwaukee railroad since a small boy. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Percy Smith, formerly of Mason City, and Mrs. Lee Baldock of Detroit with home he made his home since Mrs. Beebe's death three years ago. There are also four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body will arrive from Detroit on the Milwaukee Sunday morning. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Elmwood Cemetery, the Rev. Marvin B. Kober officiating."
