Rebecca was the first wife of James A. Beebe (1829-1906). They were married about 1854 and had at least one child together, Charles A. Beebe (1855-1943). Rebecca was the daughter of David D. Rallya and Judith (Trace) Rallya who were early settlers in Freeport, Winneshiek, Iowa.

Rebecca's mother-in-law, Lydia (Morgan) Beebe (1797-1856) is buried in the cemetery that was on Rebecca's parents' property - called the Rallya Cemetery (or sometimes the Old Freeport Cemetery).
