Alicia “Alice” Costilla, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Tuesday morning, November 14, 2017 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

The daughter of Manuel and Antonia (Rodriguez) Perez, she was born in Paint Rock, Texas.

She was united in marriage to Raymond L. Costilla on July 13, 1947 in Menard, Texas. The family moved to Guymon from Lubbock, Texas in 1969. Alice was a homemaker and member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed the game of Bingo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond on September 12, 2008, her parents, a brother and a sister.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda and husband, Armando “A.P.” Alva of Guymon and one son, Robert “Bobby” Costilla also of Guymon; two grandchildren: Christina and husband, Todd Guggisberg of Kansas, and Armando Alva Jr. and wife, Vicky of Omaha, Texas; nine great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and one brother, Alfonso Perez and wife, Lupe of Menard, Texas.

Rosary services will be Sunday evening, Nov 19th at 7pm at the Bunch-Roberts Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday morning, Nov 20th at 10am St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Father Mike Wheelahan celebrant. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery, Guymon, Oklahoma.

The Costilla family request memorial be given to St. Peter’s Catholic Church, No Man’s Land Sr. Citizens or Alzheimer’s Association. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, Ok.
