LOONEY – In Livermore, Dec. 27, 1945, Reverend Edward M. Looney, son of the late Edward and Ellen Looney, brother of Patrick S. Looney, Sister Patrick Rupert of the Presentation Order, and the late Daniel, Thomas and Mary Looney; a native of Cork, Ireland. Reverend Pastor of St. Michael's Church, Livermore.
The Reverend Clergy and friends are invited to attend the funeral Saturday, Dec. 29, 1945, at 11 a.m., at St. Michael's Church, where a Solemn Requiem High mass will be celebrated with Archbishop John J. Mitty presiding. The remains will lie in state in St. Michael's Church, Livermore, from 4 p.m. Friday until the time of the Mass. The Office of the Dead will be recited Friday evening at 8 p.m. Internment, St. Michael's Cemetery.
