"Jerry" served in the US Army during Korea before going on to a career as a plumber. He died at the Good Shepard Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids, MN at age 81.
From his obituary (Saint Cloud Times): "He was employed as a pipe fitter for Gorham-Oien Mechanical for 25 years, retiring in 1988. Jerry has lived in Saint Cloud all of his married life. He was a member of St. Paul's Parish, Lake Henry American Legion and Pipe Fitters Union Local #539. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, Jan. 4, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. His brother, Reverend Virgil Braun, officiated."
