Services for Mrs. Elda V. Boyer, 81, of 3433 Fairfield St., Laureldale, who died Sunday morning in the Reading Hospital, where she was a patient since March 15, will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
The Rev. Richard H. Schaefer and the Rev. K. Trexler will officiate in the Mertz Funeral Home, Laureldale. Burial will made in Frieden's Church Cemetery, Oley.
Born in Oley, a daughter of the late Hiram and Hettie (Boyer) Dry, she had been employed in the Muhlenberg High School cafeteria before retiring.
She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale, and its Bible class and Lutheran Church Women.
Mrs. Boyer was also affiliated with Oley Temple, Golden Eagles, and the auxiliaries to Charles H. Steele Post, American Legion, Laureldale, and the Central of Laureldale and Oley fire companies and the Berks County Firemen's Assn.
Surviving are three sons: Guy K. and Henry D., both of Temple R.D. 1, and Paul L., Lakewood, Calif.; a daughter, Mae, widow of Harold I. Bossler, Reading; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Three sisters: Minnie, widow of Luther Peters, Oley; Laura, widow of Daniel Boyer, Temple, and Sallie Dry, Topton.
