Mrs. Jacob Derr, one of the well known old settlers of Jefferson county, died at her home at Wheat Ridge on Friday last, at the age of 60 years. The funeral took place from the family residence Monday with interment at the Arvada cemetery, a large concourse of friends and neighbors from all over the eastern part of the county, as well, as from Golden and Denver, attending for the purpose of paying their last respects to the departed. Mrs. Derr was a familar figure in Golden every summer, hers having been a busy life, and we doubt not she has gone to her just reward.
