Mr. Rathbun was a native of Oak Hill, having been born at the homestead on May 25, 1858. His entire life had been engaged in farming. On December 4, 1933, Mr. and Mrs. Rathbun celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
He is survived by his wife Charity. A brother, Charles, died several years ago. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 PM, Reverend George W. Walker, officiating, assisted by Reverend Ward of Wellsville, with burial in the Hope Cemetery, Perry. Those from out of town attending the service were Reverend and Mrs. Ward of Wellsville and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Miller and nephew of Rochester.
