WORLD WAR II VETERAN

Philip Birger Lundstrom was born in Portland, Oregon on 5 September 1907 to Knut Gabriel and Hildergarde (Allmen) Lundstrom. His known siblings are Alexis, Bernard, John G., and Vincent K. Lundstrom.

On 1 January 1939 he married Elizabeth Mary Klindt in The Dalles, Oregon. Their known children are Sandra Hildegarde, Eric, and Kathleen Ethel Lundstrom.

Then he was inducted into the United States Army on 20 September 1943 in Portland, Oregon. Philip served until being medically discharged on 20 September 1944 for "Duodenum, Peptic Ulcer of, without obstruction."

At the age of 83, Philip passed away in the Seattle-Tacoma Convalescent Center in Des Moines, Washington from Pneumonia on 7 November 1990.
