Kenneth A. Hoffert, 82, formerly of Wernersville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017 at Stone Ridge Poplar Run. He was the husband of Janet M. (Brock) Hoffert, who passed away on Sept. 20th.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Frees) Freeman.

He was a member of First Reformed UCC, Wernersville, where he was on the consistory for several years.

He was a 1953 graduate of Wilson High School.

He retired from Graffius Burial Vault Company.

He was a member of the Wernersville Lion’s Club, and the Williamson Lodge #307 F&AM, and the Rajah Shrine.

He is survived by a son, Dennis A. Hoffert, Spring Twp.; a daughter, Wendy J., wife of James Bright, Robesonia; two grandchildren, Jennifer, wife of Brian Lust, and Christopher Bright; a brother, Merlin; and two sisters, Anita and Darlene. He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell, and a sister, Shirley.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 9th, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville, with his pastor, the Rev. Paul Harvey officiating. A masonic service will be held at 1:45 PM. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
