Russell R. Freeman, 67, of Ephrata, went to be with his Lord on Monday, November 12, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Reading to the late Raymond and Dorothy (Frees) Freeman and was the husband of the late Joanne (Showalter) Freeman, who preceded him in death 21 years to the day.
Russell worked as a machinist for Weaver Industry, Denver, and later worked in maintenance for Quinlan's Pretzel. He was a classic car enthusiast, enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and drag racing. While attending Harvest Fellowship he took great pride in sharing with others his love for Christ.
Russell is survived by a son and a daughter, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five sisters and two brothers.
Interment will take place in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
