Geraldine grew up with her brothers and sister working on the family farm. She graduated from Star High School and attended Texas State Teachers College in San Marcos. She married Elmer Geeslin on November 6, 1951. She and Elmer moved to Bisbee, Arizona where Elmer was foreman on a cattle ranch. In 1956, she and Elmer purchased a farm and ranch outside Hamilton where they raised their children.
Geraldine was active in the family agriculture businesses and was an adult leader for 4-H club activities. She worked for many years as a seamstress at Patty's of Texas and Walls. She was a member of the Park Heights Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband; brothers Roland Poe and Allen Poe; and daughter, Susan Reinert.
Graveside services will be held 11a.m., Wednesday at Hurst Ranch Cemetery with Wyman Poe officiating.
