She was born on May 31, 1933 in Archer, Idaho to Marion Haws and Ethel Spaulding. She married Glen Leonard Brown in 1952. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Together, they raised two daughters, Sherry Genece and Charlotte. Early in their marriage they lived in Rexburg, while later moving to Jackson, Wyoming. Then, finally settling in Blackfoot 56 years ago.
Genece enjoyed working for many years at Nonpariel in the lab. Through her life as wife, mother and grandmother she enjoyed cooking and the outdoors; hunting, fishing, and camping.
