Pricilla Louise “Weze” Bean, age 70, of Mattoon passed away at 8:25 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at her residence.

Louise was born on August 23, 1947 in Mattoon the daughter of Charles Rono and Ruby Lorena (Gast) Bolen. She married Ronald G. Bean on November 19, 1991.

Louise was previously employed at the Garment Factory, Wal-Mart and Brown Shoe Company. She co-owned the Airport Steakhouse in Mattoon for many years along with her husband, Ron. Louise enjoyed adult coloring books, crafting, sewing, gardening and hosting family meals. She was a three-time cancer survivor and was very courageous in her battle with Crohn’s. Most of all, Louise cherished spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Ron Bean of Mattoon, IL; daughter, Lisa Lynne (Brandon) Carter; stepdaughters, Pamela (Katherine) Bean and Laurie (David) Fugate all of Mattoon, IL; stepson, Todd (Bobbie) Bean of Gays, IL; grandchildren, Brian K. (Kirstie) Anderson of Decatur, IL, Jordan K. (Andie) Anderson of Urbana, IL, Kasey Bean of Gays, IL, Karlie Bean of Gays, IL, Alonzo, Emma and Steven; three great grandchildren; brother, Harvey L. Bolen of Mattoon, IL; sisters, Sandy (Bob) Ohm, Sharon (Brad) Newlin, Pam (Tom) Culp, and Cindy (Joseph Jr.) Utley all of Mattoon, IL; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; special friend, Dorothy Doak and special caregiver, Kim Plummer.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronnie Bolen; nephew, Blake Bolen and great nephew, Jacob Colbert.

Funeral services honoring her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Schilling Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at Dodge Grove Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the funeral home.
