Larry Wayne Mullen Sr., 72, of Alvarado Tx, passed away Wednesday October 25 at his home with his family by his side.
Services will be held Wednesday November 1 at 11:00AM at Crowley Assembly of God in Crowley Tx. Larry was cremated.
He was born in Muskogee Oklahoma, he is the son of Dewey and Mary Mullen. He was the youngest of 12 children. His survivors include his wife Shirley of 57 years, his son Larry Jr, and grandson Larry 3rd. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas,4 sisters and 4 brothers. He has 2 surviving sisters Alberta Holybee of Eufala Ok, and Marie Redford of Gore Ok., and 1 brother Paul Mullen of Lost City Ok. As well as many nieces and nephews.
Larry was in sales most of his life, owned 2 businesses but most important was his ministry.He traveled as an evangelist, he worked with the homeless, feeding and clothing them once a week and ministered at the Union Gospel Mission for 15 years, twice a week. Most of all Larry loved the Lord and was his faithful servant furthering Jesus Ministry. Now he is rejoicing in heaven with our Heavenly Father and all our loved ones.
